When comparing the cost of 3D-printed furniture, you might find two pieces of similar size with different prices. To understand why, compare the design range, materials, details, finish, and other components. The final price depends on the order specifications, not just the technical description.
Separate the design from the rest of the items
Ask if the offer is for an existing product or for developing a new design. Does it include design revisions or an approval sample? Then check the number of pieces, dimensions, material, color, and finish. The piece may include a surface or accessories that require separate explanation, such as the glass top on some tables.
Compare offers with the same range
Create a standardized list for comparison: item, quantity, dimensions, finishing, packaging, transport, and installation (if required). Also, check the tax statement, duration, and terms of approval. A lower bid amount does not necessarily mean a lower project cost if some work is excluded.
