Artwork or wall panels? Choose the right solution for your space.

Two options for two different goals

The difference between paintings and wall panels begins with the piece's relationship to its space. A painting is a standalone work with defined boundaries and a composition that can draw the eye within a room. Panels, on the other hand, are often designed to treat a larger surface area and may feature repeated motifs or extended patterns. There is no single best option for every space.

When do you choose a painting?

A painting is ideal when you need a focal point above a console or in an entryway, or when you want an artistic presence without altering the entire wall space. Compare its size to the furniture below it, and leave visual space around it to allow for reading the details. Examples from the Fused collection include Kiswah, Diriyah, and Basmat Najd, each with its own distinct reference and composition.

When should you discuss panel design?

If the wall is a key element of the project, a comprehensive study encompassing the engraving, partitioning, lighting, and installation may be worthwhile. In this case, a plan becomes more important than a single image. Specify whether the panels will extend around a corner or terminate at a doorway, and whether there are any utilities that require access.

Make your choice with these questions

Is a piece of art or a surface treatment required? Is the space ready or still under construction? Can the lighting be modified? What is the budget and scope of the project? Share your answers with Fused to determine a suitable starting point. The product name alone does not dictate how it will be installed; the requirements of each piece or project are reviewed before ordering.
