Not every material is suitable for every place. At Fuzzed, material selection begins with the piece's function and environment, followed by color, texture, and finish. Two pieces may look similar, but their usage requirements may differ.
Inside the space
For indoor use, we consider the texture, color, cleaning method, expected loads, and the piece's proximity to heat sources or sunlight through windows. The finish is chosen to suit the actual use, whether it's in a home, office, or reception area.
outside the space
The exterior of the structure may be exposed to sun, heat, humidity, rain, and dust. Therefore, the material, finish, installation method, drainage, and protection are reviewed according to the project site, taking into account the difference between a shaded area and one exposed all day. Not all Fused products are automatically suitable for outdoor use.
Material and finish work together
Finishing can alter color and texture and add specific protection, but it doesn't make any material suitable for every situation. The decision depends on the material's properties, the compatibility of the finishing layers with it, and how the piece is manufactured and cared for.
Sample approval prior to implementation
In custom projects, color and texture samples help compare options under varying lighting conditions. Some applications may require further revisions or testing depending on the requirements. The scope of use and suggested precautions are explained before implementation is approved.
Tell us about the usage.
Please share photos of the site, whether it's indoors or outdoors, its exposure to sun and humidity, and the required dimensions and quantity. With this information, we can discuss suitable materials and finishes and clearly define what can be implemented.
